Who are we?
#TinyCrewBigRaffle is brought to you by Amy and Christina, also known as the Admirals of the Tiny Fleet and Pirate Queens. We started out as OFMD Buys Boats, but have shifted our user names for our continued charity raffle efforts beyond the Tiny Boats that started it all.
Tiny Boats – Tiny Crew
It all began on Reddit, of all places. In March of 2024 eagle-eyed Our Flag Means Death fans had spotted an auction happening in Aotearoa New Zealand for “Pirate Screen-Used Props” from a recent pirate TV show they couldn’t name. The auction featured plenty of lots that matched up with OFMD Season 2, which was filmed in Auckland AoNZ. The Tiny Boats were noted to being very similar to those used by Auntie and Zheng on the Red Flag and the suggestion was made that 100 fans could come together to form a collective bid. There was interest in participating, but not in organising. Amy, being in a freelance work lull, offered herself as tribute if someone would help with the US side of things, and the Amy & Christina Co-Captaincy was formed. 56 fans around the world made up our original Tiny Crew, and now features 7 more who joined us after winning #TinyCrewBigRaffle.
Amy
Amy grew up by the sea (technically on an island), but now lives in London with her two rescue cats, and like Buttons, yearns for the sea. In the warmer months she can often be found heading back down to the coast to swim in the sea and continue to grow her claw machine and 2 penny pusher prize collections.
Aside from the obvious pirate brain-rot Amy loves to swim, read, travel and when she’s organised enough, sew. She has been in various fandoms for over 23 years and has recently turned that into a fan-focused convention business, with 2 OFMD events on the books for 2025.

Christina
Christina here! I’m not quite sure what to say about myself. Lol. My family is composed of myself, my husband, and my 5-yr-old daughter. I have a 10-yr-old dog called Albie (named after the dragon from Flight of the Conchords), and I tell everyone that he is my first child. I love tv/movies, reading, and gaming (PS5). I’m quite passionate about the outdoors, and I even have some conservation experience with US Fish & Wildlife.
I’ve always loved pirates! One of my role models being the real life Anne Bonny. She grasped life by the horns and left for adventure, loving whoever she wanted. Not to mention, she and Mary Read used to tear open their shirts as they swung into battle! Can you get any more epic?
